It records the relationship with Nicolas Renaud as an unsent email, and app/outreach/page.tsx marks the packet status: "ready".

This repository contains zero words spoken by Nicolas Renaud. All 15 files mentioning him were written about him, by Perplexity, by Copilot, by an agent. His own words live outside it, in one undiarized French transcript at /srv/miadi/episodes/miadi-chronicle/2026-06-19-episode-066-ears-and-eye-testing-and-cinema-indigenous/ilex-testing/260619144304.tr-FR.txt (10,724 bytes, no speaker labels, speakers switching mid-sentence).

Two conversations have since taken place — 2026-06-17 (he refers back to it: « quand on se parlait mercredi ») and 2026-06-19. In the second he redirected the project to the Cinema department (« nous on n'a pas de maîtrise en études autochtones. Il n'y en a pas. »), opened a door (« je laisse la porte ouverte à être membre de comité d'un projet de maîtrise que tu ferais. »), offered an introduction to Martin Lafebvre (« dis-moi-le et je vais faire le lien »), and proposed a further conversation on William's return — which William accepted.

None of this reached this repository. ROADMAP.md:30 instructs "Update child issues after conversation with real outcomes." miadisabelle/Etuaptmumk-RSM#216, #217, #218, #219, #220, #223 and #225 all remain open and unchanged.

Meanwhile the Master's proposal published at https://app.simplenote.com/p/0yrZJw quotes him by name from that transcript, including his tobacco teaching and the phrase "academic garlands". The project statement is stamped ~2h20m after the conversation ended.

Desired State

This repository records the Renaud relationship as it actually stands, and no word of his reaches a public surface before he has said it may.

Action Steps

• Mark speaker attribution in 260619144304.tr-FR.txt before anything is quoted. The transcript is undiarized; at least one line currently read as his (« je vais continuer de faire mes offrandes de tabac ») is William's. Nothing may be quoted from an unattributed line.
• Correct the composed quotation in the published proposal. The attributed pull-quote opens "Knowledge comes from relationship." — a case-insensitive search of the transcript for any French equivalent returns 0 hits. He said only « Il y a des gestes et des objets extra simples qui peuvent prendre une vie à comprendre. Pour moi, ça aussi, c'est le savoir. » A composition is currently published as a verbatim quotation, in his name, about the nature of knowledge.
• Reconcile "informed by collaboration with Nicolas Renaud" with what the record supports: two route-finding conversations and a conditional open door. His language is conditional throughout.
• Record the state change here: the 06-17 and 06-19 conversations, the Cinema redirection, the committee door, the Lafebvre offer, the agreed return conversation. This honours the follow-up clause already written into miadisabelle/Etuaptmumk-RSM#223.
• Change app/outreach/page.tsx from status: "ready" — the drafted email was overtaken by events and now misdescribes the relation.
• Take up or decline the Lafebvre introduction, and hold the return conversation. Both have stood 45 days.
• Retire the "OCAP® as Communication Framework" section in foundations/professional-outreach-research/lane-219-relational-communication.md in favour of the FNIGC-cited treatment in lane-218-indigenous-leadership.md. Strike the OCAP® claim from the draft sentence in synthesis.md — it was written to be said to a Huron-Wendat program director, with no FNIGC training and no community mandate behind it.
• Decide deliberately on context-layer.md's proposal to federate this packet across repos. Federating a profile of a private individual is an access-and-possession decision nobody has consciously made.
• Write episode 067. /srv/miadi/episodes/miadi-chronicle/2026-06-19-episode-067-renaud-meeting/ contains exactly one file, AGENTS.md — the number was claimed and the story never told.

Structural Tension

Current reality: a repository describing a first approach, and a chronicle holding a relationship two conversations further on, which have not spoken to each other for 62 days. The most quotable minutes of that relationship were published within hours; the room named for the meeting has been empty for 45 days.

Desired state: the record and the relation say the same thing, and Renaud's words move only at his word.

On 2026-07-31 this circle named the principle exactly: "If I take a chronicle number for it today and write it in his absence, I have not documented his story. I have moved it, and moving it is the taking. We can hold the number. We should not fill it." That was honoured for Jerry. Here the number was claimed and left empty while the extractable content shipped the same afternoon. The tension resolves through the conversation he himself proposed — « qu'on se reparle quand tu vas revenir » — which is the consent gate. It does not resolve by writing more about him.
