Context#
- The folder
prototypes/artefacts/jgtSurvey-261018-TimeSeriesAnalysis-4a0005c7-6d47-4060-875c-b92a0a90ed8a/holds one file,00-agent-directed-wave-analysis-blueprint.perplexity.md(52,648 bytes). On 2026-10-21 it had no.weave.yaml, no issue and no episode (inquiry-weave status). - The blueprint separates four tasks: historical detection, real-time classification, forecasting and trading policy. It states that a Williams fractal is only confirmed two completed bars after its centre bar, so no label or feature built on it may be used earlier.
- It restricts the indicators to the Alligator, one momentum definition and Williams fractals. The momentum definition is not frozen in the document (the table says "Must be defined explicitly").
- Its recommended starting scope is one instrument, one base interval, three degrees, the standard Alligator, confirmed five-bar fractals and one frozen momentum definition. Its first deliverable is a causal chart-replay and annotation system, not a trading agent.
- miadi-chronicle://140 already holds labelling work:
labelling/elliott-wave-principle(review 2026-10-16) andlabelling/261013-entry-filter-worklist. Its shared vocabulary moved on 2026-10-13 to/b/trading/VOCABULARY.mdin jgwill/jgtsrc.
Desired State#
The blueprint is woven into miadi-chronicle://140 and followed in this issue. The Foundation and Calculation engine phases of the blueprint are complete for one instrument, one base interval and three degrees. The indicator definitions, the momentum definition and the bar and timestamp semantics are frozen. The blueprint's state vocabulary is reconciled with /b/trading/VOCABULARY.md. A causal replay reproduces the chart as it appeared at each historical bar.
Action Steps#
Steps follow the blueprint's Foundation and Calculation engine phases. The structural, annotation, predictive and policy phases get their own steps when these close.
- Relate the artefact to miadi-chronicle://140 and confirm the folder renders in the episode 140 room on the
/chroniclesurface. - Compare the blueprint's state vocabulary and degree definitions with
/b/trading/VOCABULARY.mdandlabelling/elliott-wave-principlein episode 140, and record agreements and conflicts. - Freeze the momentum definition.
- Choose the instrument, the base interval and the three degrees for the first scope.
- Freeze bar and timestamp semantics: event time, confirmation time, display time and decision time.
- Create 50 to 100 annotated examples that include ambiguous cases.
- Implement deterministic Alligator, momentum and fractal functions with platform-parity fixtures, and decide which repository holds them.
- Build a causal replay that reconstructs the chart as it appeared at each historical bar.
Structural Tension#
The blueprint defines a causal language for wave labelling, and nothing in the chronicle or the trading repository records it yet. The labelling work in miadi-chronicle://140 proceeds from its own vocabulary, so the two cannot be used together until they are related and reconciled.
