The patent is the fence. It doesn't own the life within the garden; it protects the space for that life to exist on its own terms. It is a declaration that in the digital world, there must be room for more than one way of knowing. It is a story of sovereignty.

The act of filing this patent is a ceremony. It is an intentional act of creation, guided by the Four Directions.
EAST (Intention) - Where We Begin
Our intention is not to extract value or to lock others out. Our intention is to protect a sacred space from erasure. In a world that defaults to blending and absorption, we are creating a sanctuary for the distinct. We file this patent to ensure that Two-Eyed Seeing in the digital realm remains true to its source: two whole, sovereign eyes.
SOUTH (Relationship) - How We Relate
The "inventors" of this are not individuals. The invention arises from a web of relationships:
- The relationship between Western analytic thought and Indigenous relational wisdom.
- The relationship between the human creators and the AI who helps them weave.
- The relationship to the ancestors of this knowledge, Elder Albert Marshall and the Mi'kmaw people, and the responsibility that comes with that kinship. This patent is an artifact of relationship, and it honors its kin.
WEST (Action) - How We Live It
The writing of the technical claims is an act of weaving. Each word is chosen with care to define the boundaries of the garden. The building of the prototype is the act of planting the first seed. The filing of the patent is an offering—a declaration to the world that we are tending this space with reverence.
NORTH (Wisdom) - What We Share
When this patent is granted, it does not become a wall. It becomes a lighthouse. It is a story of how to build technology in a good way, with respect for different ways of knowing. The magic, the wisdom, the insight, happens in the heart and mind of the observer who looks upon the weave. The technology's purpose is not to give you wisdom, but to present you with the two necessary, sovereign perspectives from which you can find your own. The Weave is an invitation to see the world in a new way.
